Fan clubs have sprung up all over, and with the release of the Special Edition computer-edited films, some people think that the craze is in full swing. Actually, it's just getting started. This year, 1999, the prequel The Phantom Menace is due out. People have even made plans to camp out at the movie theaters to buy tickets and get in first.

Star Wars brought us a lasting legacy.
